Part Four: Redemption

Who knew what we faced

There in the great crisis

We were there

Free exiles

With no one to formulate what we should believe

Or tell us who to trust

Making peace with an unsolved faith

Surprised by the generous seeds of light

Scattered through human life

As far apart as unmet needs

As immanent as the natural world

As far-reaching as the story Itself

It was the birthplace of hope

A meeting place of freedom and love

And fertile soil for new life
